eSport Study 2020 – Well-being and recovery

Already last year, the first eSport Study 2019 provided a comprehensive picture of health behaviour in eSports. This year’s survey focused on the topics “well-being” and “recovery”, on which we interviewed over 1200 eSports amateurs and professionals. Results and training recommendations for eAthletes (Video)

With Germany’s first eSport performance test, we have measured eSport-professionals, eSport-amateurs and sportsmen in selected skills relevant for eSport. The eSport performance Test (video)

We have developed Germany’s first eSport performance test and it is already being used by us at the German Sports University in Cologne. The test battery measures the eSport relevant abilities of the players in order to identify the potentials and discover weak points. The results are required to establish esport specific training programs.
